Physician Referral/Financial Structuring of Physician Contracts
Physicians are continuing to band together to take advantage of group structure. In doing so, Physicians may inadvertently come across situations which will put the groups out of compliance with Physician Referral rules. DHA can help structure these contracts in a more appropriate way.  DHA can help clients determine whether to treat physicians as employees or independent contractors.   

RAC Audits
CMS announced this past year that the Recovery Audit Contractors (RAC) pilot program would become permanent and that program will be expanded to all 50 states by 2010. DHA can develop for clients a program of regular review of coding and billing practices. DHA will also represent clients during RAC audits.
